EVENT BOOTH SET UP
Every event booth is set up differently to fit the nature and audience of the event. The event booth should always look clean and approachable. Advocates offer a giveaway to each visitor who they have a chance to talk to. Please do not hand out giveaways to everyone who walks by. When displaying giveaways, only display one kind (i.e. bracelets, chip clips, pens) at a time to help conserve the amount of promotional materials needed.

TIPS FOR A SUCCESSFUL EVENT / DONOR REGISTRATION DRIVE
• Stand in front of the Donor Registration Drive table
• Smile and greet visitors
• Use an ice-breaker question (ex. Are you a registered Organ
Donor? Do you have the Little Red Heart on your license?
Have you ever known anyone who has received a transplant?)
• Don’t demand that people become donors. Instead, ask about
their hesitations, address them politely and provide them with
more information
• Offer to sign them up on the spot – whether with registration
cards or the LifeShare tablet
• Thank people for stopping by and supporting or considering
donation
